It’s October, which means it’s spawning season for salmon, and Gary Rowley is ready with his Mini Striker fishing pistol crossbow from William Tell Archery! Not only an experienced fisherman, Gary is also a seasoned chef, and knows how to make the most of his catch!
Check out his delicious recipe for blackened salmon stuffed with spinach and parmesan cheese with shrimp and spinach alfredo:
Ingredients:
Salmon cut into individual servings seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, blackened seasoning, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper
Salmon stuffing-
Cooked chopped spinach with heavy whipped cream, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt and pepper
Fettuccine noodles
Alfredo sauce (your choice)
Shrimp
Chopped Spinach
Directions :
Slice open the salmon down the middle of the piece to prepare about half way through. Cut in opposite directions as to fold over, creating a cavity to stuff in chopped shrimp
and chopped spinach stuffing. Sprinkle on parmesan cheese and fold back to neatly cover your stuffing. Brown in a pan on the underside to make crispy, then into the oven at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Separately cook your fettuccine noodles and alfredo sauce. Sauté shrimp and spinach, and then toss in with the noodles and sauce.
Remove the salmon out of the oven, and place on top of the noodles with shrimp and alfredo sauce. Finally, drizzle melted butter, lemon juice, and garlic on top to add a little more flavor and juiciness.
Enjoy!
